Giving Children a Voice
There are a number of resources out there to help children who cannot
communicate get their point across, but nothing has worked as well as the apps
created to use on the iPad. Children with autism and other disorders who cannot
speak get frustrated and just cry to try to communicate what they want. Now
with these new apps they can actually have a voice which is a relief to both
the children and their parents. These apps for the iPad are so important because these
kids know exactly what they want but just don't know how to formulate the
words. These kids now have a voice they have been longing for for so long and
it is truly amazing.

I never knew about these apps until I read this post. I think it's a great idea and I'm really happy to hear that technology that is normally used for entertainment is being used to help children who otherwise would be suffering.
ReplyDeleteThis is amazing and its heartwarming knowing that a child struggling to communicate can now easily express themselves simply with the use of technology.
ReplyDeleteThis is so interesting because most of the time we think that people are just using iPads to play games and socialize with friends. It makes me happy to think that people are using it for better ways.
